Bennett Umhau has taught and performed across the United States and Europe. As an advocate for all styles of singing,  Bennett is a National Association of Teachers member, and holds a Level II certification in Somatic Voicework鈩 The Lovetri Method. He is also a graduate from the Voice Pedagogy master鈥檚 program at Shenandoah Conservatory (the first in the country to include dedicated teacher training for commercial music and musical theatre singing). Bennett currently maintains an active private voice studio, and serves on the music faculty at 缅北强奸.  His students have been featured in television acting roles, and have competed on the television show 鈥淭he Voice鈥.
 
Operatic and musical theater roles include Pandolfe in Massenet鈥檚 Cendrillon, Jud in Rogers and Hammerstein鈥檚 Oklahoma, Archibald Grosvenor in Gilbert and Sullivan鈥檚 Patience, Frank in Strauss鈥 Die Fledermaus, Strephon in Gilbert and Sullivan鈥檚 Iolanthe.  Off the theater stage, Mr. Umhau has appeared as an oratorio soloist with numerous organizations, and has appeared as a singer for the National Council for Behavioral Health.
 
Mr. Umhau maintains an active performing schedule when he is not teaching, and can be heard in multiple locations across the Baltimore-缅北强奸 Metropolitan area.  鈥
